Obama reaches out to GOP, tests its intentions.....

Are you KIDDING ME? First paragraph from the article in the NY Times....

WASHINGTON - Emboldened by the response to President Obama’s face-off with House Republicans last week, the White House is intensifying its push to engage Congressional Republicans in policy negotiations as a way to share the burden of governing and put more scrutiny on Republican initiatives.

So.... I guess the evil Republicans have been shutting the White House out of all their "secret" policy discussions, and committee meetings? As a punishment, he should MAKE them share the burden of governing... I would scrutinize their initiatives too.... Smaller government: Who are they kidding? Lower taxes: Who will pay for all the votes bought, (I mean Legislative Give-and-Take required to pass some bills?) Don't they realize if you lower taxes, it will stimulate the economy and..... ummmm... increase wages.... and then....OH CRAP!.. bring in more tax revenue.... well, they MUST have some evil motive behind that..

The article goes on the say that Obama is inviting GOP members to the WH to watch the Superbowl... How cool is THAT? And also to camp David to Socialize... WAIT A MINUTE! Who is paying for all this "arm-twisting"?? I think that would be You and I! Well, at least they will be writing legislation that will be passed in the... OH CRAP! The Democrats STILL control both houses.... Now WHY is he doing this again? Maybe to be able to BLAME some of the bad governing on the GOP in the fall (Just in time for mid-term elections?) I would say "thanks, but no thanks" Mr. President.
